How to Vote in Ohio: 2026 Deadlines & Rules

All dates come from the Ohio Secretary of State's official 2026 Voting Schedule page. Early voting hours vary by date (8 a.m. to 5 p.m. most weekdays, extended hours in the final week). The SoS schedule states non-UOCAVA absentee ballots must be received by 7:30 p.m. on Election Day; confirm with the county board of elections closer to the election, as Ohio has previously had a postmark grace period.
